Benidorm does Christmas in the sun. The town's festive programme is called BeniNadal, and it runs from early December to Epiphany in January. The festive lights reach more streets, squares and parks this year.

What is planned
Festive village
The Town Hall square becomes the Plaza de la Navidad for over a month, with an ice rink, market stalls and a fairground. Stage shows are usually in the late afternoon and early evening.
Santa's House
At the Casa-Museu l'Hort de Colón, open daily from 21 to 24 December and on some weekends in December.
TardoBuena
The daytime Christmas Eve party starts from 12:30 on 24 December.

Christmas Day itself is a public holiday in Spain, so most supermarkets, banks and offices are shut. Benidorm Palace has also listed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve galas: check their website for tickets.
